It's a Yamaha engine not a Rotax engine, a mate has one of the 8 MuZ works racers made by Tigcraft with that engine, he raced it in 1999, sold it to buy an Aprilia race bike and bought it back again late last year.

If you've got room for it, get it bought, you can then pour money into it turning it into a mega track day bike.
Most of the money will go on the engine, they can make good power, but they get fragile, the frame is very similar to the Tigcraft one and doesn't flex.

Unless someone will give me £500 for the Triumph then I've got no room hence posting it on @weeksy 's thread

I'd buy it if it weren't for the following
I've got no room
I've got too many old motorcycles already
It's in Lancashire - if it was local I'd be tempted to buy it, stick it in the garden and use it to teach my teenage children to ride a motorbike with.

I'm getting there with the Triumph!! But will likely keep it and ride it now!! Maybe, if the wife does not bend my arm too much.

I don't know that it is, a 26 year old high performance bike with a reputation for iffy handling is probably best avoided.asmethurst99 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 4:22 pmLot of bike for the moneySupermofo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 10:07 am This is at the top of my list at the moment

I think you'd have to be brave to use the performance without a thorough strip down and check of the chassis, says the man who bought an FZ750 for £721 and thought it passing an MOT meant it was safe to ride flat out at Snetterton, turned out the brake discs weren't great.

IIRC the TLS frames can crack around the shock mounting unless they were shimmed properly.
...and if the frame didn't crack they'd just find some other way to kill you.
