I nearly didn't go and see it because the photos of the bodywork didn't look great, but I'm glad I did! People clean alage shit off with harsh chemicals and fade the crap out of the plastics!
Anyway, as Bob says heat gun or chemical guy tire dressing gel stuff will sort it.
Came with more than I could need, but a lot of itis good stuff; Garmin Motorhome sat nav, awning tent,levelling blocks, rafter supports for the wind out awning, TV, DVD player, mega pegs etc blah. Its got enough plates, cups, glasses and cutlery to feed a Platoon!
It was also rattling about and doing my nut in on the drive home, so a lot of that will be binned. I suspect the wife will want our own stuff anyway?
Took a while to get used to driving a van and a manual transmission as well!
But it did drive lovely and would exceed the legal limit easily enough. It's based on a 2010 Fiat Ducato Mulitjet 100 which apparently has a timing chain and not cambelt? I obviously need to check this out to be sure, but good news if that's correct. If not it'll get one before it goes anywhere. Only don't 33k, but not a risk I'll take. Just had an oil service and 4 brand new tyres, which were fitted at his house and hadn't even been on the road until I drove it! No solar panels but you can plug one into the current system. I got him down enough to pay for one, so I'll look into that, that way we can use the aires on our way to Spain iN August.
My Sister is away in her camper Kent and has demanded we meet up tomorrow with her. She is roaming like a Jikey at the moment but intends to find a campsite somewhere near Whitstable? I assume the wife wont be pissed off that I bought it without her seeing/endorsing it? A bit lat enow anyway. But hopefully, she won't have the hump and sulk and we can give it an inaugural run tomorrow. I'm a happy chappy!
