IIRC the registered keeper is 'asked' to say who was driving/riding at the time. Failing to identify is an offence.

It’s not even my bike, I just keep finding random footage on YouTube and steal it.

Beware, though. Wasn't there some eejit who posted similar videos - including riding home :)

Worst case prosecution-wise would be if you were to have the camera card seized and used as evidence.

Cracker for me was Spain.

Me on my Blade and Matey on his TL are doing 150ish down a long straight, slow to all of say 130 over the brow of a hill and there are some houses on the other side, more hamlet rather than village, but a settlement none the less. Might have been ok if old dude wasn't pushing his Mrs across the road in a wheelchair, cue 2 arseholes going left and right of them at probably 100 mph at this point as after trying to scrub more speed off we decided that was worse than avoiding action ASAP in case they moved forward or back so we both pinned it again.

Even worse dude is now in the middle of the road giving us what for when following matey on his 600 comes over the brow of the hill pinned trying to catch us. So third twat is thrown into the mix. Luckily he also successfully negotiates the living chicane.

A few mins later my Dad and some others come through at a sensible pace wondering why some old Spanish bloke is giving them the verbals

What a bunch of coonts we were!

Which is a shame because I can't find the original video now.
As far as i know, with my very limited knowledge of Roads Policing law, most driving offences are summary offences so the charges must laid within 6 months of the date of the offence and in any case where there are some exceptions they must be charged within 3 years.

I believe this also applies to dangerous driving which is what you would get charged with for 166 on a public road

So you should have been safe ;)

I reckon my favourite thing about this bike is the way the numbers on the rev counter get subtly bigger as the 'bar' goes past them.

Yeah it’s great, that’s one thing I had missed when I had the Gsxr for a few years, the set up on the 1299s was top notch, not sure which is better, the beemer probably works just that little bit better but not much in it.
