Thank you kind sir.
Next challenge will be a pic of your bike on one of your favourite roads.

I know none of these would have counted anyway but spoiled for choice around here for the previous topic. This one was finished recently
These are on a holiday village overlooking the dunes
If I wanted to proper cheat I could have wheeled one of the bikes into the back garden for a pic of my neighbour Fred’s place

Here's a picture of my bike at The Ditchling Beacon which is on a road known locally as The Road That Goes Over The Ditchling Beacon. It's not a great road as it's not very long (4m), but it has some fast bends and a steep zigzag section so it's varied.
Requesting points in lieu for an icecream van, a Yorkshire Tea sign and a football stadium.
The next challenge is a picture of your bike taken in alfresco, within an hour of sunrise or within an hour before sunset.

They measure if differently here, in the UK it would be 94 or greater IIRC... Not really an issue as I was just topping off to dilute the 100LL a bit
Don't forget that's a Calizuela pump, other States have up to 5 choices. We also have VP Fuels stations where you can buy 100 & 110. There was one here in town until recently.

94 you say....nearly as good as Tesco own brand.
I've got a bottle of that lead replacement octane booster stuff too, I inherited it with the Bonneville. I tried finding out if I should use it via the old boys forum and came away less certain than when I started.

For that crap to actually do any good you have to use 4x what it says on the can. It's easier just to gas up at the airfield.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 4:27 pm 94 you say....nearly as good as Tesco own brand.

As for 91/94 deal, it might actually be 98, but I can't recall the actual number
btw, that bike pic was the day it rolled over 119,000 miles. It will be 22 years old on May 7th. Not too shabby looking.

I run the Triumph on Optimax 99RON which as far as I know is actually 'legit' 99RON rather than 'ethanol boosted'.
I have no idea if its actually necessary. It was running so badly due to lack of compression you'd not notice the issues with low octane fuel

Petrol debate aside , what’s the current task as I looked earlier and I assumed the petrol station at sparrowfart was submitted for an early or late one ?
