Pah! An elastoplast will sort that, or MTFU and ignore it. You have8 pints of blood, leaking a bit won't hurt you.Horse wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2024 7:37 pm Got injured

Installed the PAX side fire extinguisher in the F350. Turned into bigger ball ache than expected owing to the thickness of the carpet underlay pad. Now off to the Chevron to fill up... "$200 on pump three please" (it holds almost 40gal)... altho tbf, the last fill up was Oct13th (25.28 Gal/$113.73).

Spent a fortune at the dentist. £155 for scale and polish, check up and X-rays. Then ferret 1 went to vet for dental work, £407 for extraction and abscess drain and booked ferret 2 in for scale and polish in Jan which will be another £200-300 depending on extractions.

Commenced Operation Dining Room Facelift:
(Aside from ripping out the old manky carpet, and stripping most of the wallpaper to see what kind of plaster we're dealing with - the wrong kind
.)
Now I'm hosting Christmas here I thought I'd better make it look at least semi-presentable temporarily
- Removed a few random old bits of wallpaper, while Muz cleaned the skirting etc.
- Painted the first coat.

You should consider moving to Iran(istan) :https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/
Gasoline prices, 09-Dec-2024
(US Gallon, U.S. Dollar)
Iran 0.108 USD per US Gallon (go figue the Yanks decided to call the unit the same and make it smaller) Gallon
Just not sure you can do any of the other fun stuff there

What I am going to be doing is making a ramp from 3 layers of 2x12's to park the left rear wheels on while at the pumps to help it burp the tanks so it doesn't take 15 frigging minutes to pump 30 gallons of fuelpetrolpete wrote: Fri Dec 13, 2024 11:37 pm You should consider moving to Iran(istan) :https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/

Re: What have you done today thread?
First day driving one of the big Sprinters! The shorter ones have less then (or around) 1m Porte a faux after the rear wheels. This one has 2m!!!
And it’s been snowing most of the way to the airport. Currently stopped in an aire as I don’t know what facilities are at the parking in the airport. Turns out the sodding flight is late, so I’m gonna stay here a bit longer then head to the airport for about when I think the passengers will have collected their luggage!!

With a normal Merc minibus for scale!!

This in Aime at the bottom of my mountain (the depot is a bit lower down but still in Aime). It’s been snowing on and off all the way to where I’ve paused!! Just hope the roads are clear up in Tignes!!
