The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

Absolutely amazing film BTW, they don’t seem to make Shakespearean tragedies into children's films featuring anthropomorphic animals so much these days, and the world is poorer for it.

Darth Vader and Mustafa, he was just a voice. In proper acting he'll always be Thulsa Doom!

Re: Just Dead Celebrity Express Thread !
Being a 90s kid my entire childhood was defined by the 7 films my family had on VHS.
One of which (alongside Star Wars and The Lion King come to think of it) was The Hunt for Red October in which Jones played an Admiral.
So that's how I picture him in real life.

Re: Just Dead Celebrity Express Thread !
A short ceremony was held in Porthleven in Cornwall today, not far from RNAS Culdrose, to remember the “Dam Busters” hero Wing Commander Guy Gibson.
Today marks the 80th anniversary of his death, after his bomber crashed in occupied-Netherlands in the Second World War. He was the commanding officer of the RAF’s 617 Squadron, which famously attacked the dams in Germany in 1943. He was just 26 years old when he lost his life.
Wing Commander Gibson’s mother came from Porthleven, and he spent time there during leave.
Organising today’s service of remembrance was Beatrice Kerno of the Porthleven Old Cornwall Society. She recalled the late Vic Strike, who knew Wing Commander Gibson and did much to raise awareness of his links to the village, including commissioning a plaque on the Bickford-Smith Institute Building – the port’s iconic clocktower.
Laying wreaths on behalf of the Royal Navy was RNAS Culdrose Base Warrant Officer Mark Swift and on behalf of the RAF, St Mawgan’s Warrant Officer Darrel Keane. Also laying a wreath was Iain Henderson of The Veterans Charity.
The service was led by Reverend Mike North and the Last Post was sounded by Clive King of HMS Seahawk Volunteer Band. Attending alongside Old Cornwall Society members, was a representative of Porthleven Town Council and year-6 pupils from Porthleven Primary School.
Many members of the public, enjoying the Cornish sunshine, also stopped to join in the service on the seafront.
