Just had my first ever Greggs vegan sausage roll.
My my!
Either their social economics gurus are a bit spesh or there's fuck all sausage in the full fat version
Also sat in Sainsbury's car park wd-ing all my rear light connectors/bulbs after yesterday's dowsing (all my rear light connectors are open to the elements)

Grabbed a pot of homemade beef keema out of the freezer for lunch this morning.
Or so I thought. It was actually cottage pie filling.
Still, nice enough.

Sorted out one of the front springs on the SAAB.
Didn't even need a compressor to remove the top mount.....which may have explained it's desire to try and turn right all the time!
Probably get the other one done this weekend, when I'm sure spring compressors will be required for removal.
Drives a lot smoother now as well!

I bought one of those insulating kits for the inside of the garage up and over door. I spent a couple of hours doing that, before going to a few plumber's merchants to try for O rings for the kitchen tap spout. None of the outlets were remotely interested (we don't carry tap spares, mate) so I raided my own collection of O rings, which I ought to have done in the first place. Sorted for now,but I'm not overly confident it'll last long. I see new taps in my future.

I’ve had surgery on my noggin which means I can’t wear a crash helmet for a week or two which is a bit of a pisser as I can’t go out riding with my lad, was planning taking him for a bit of greenlaning
So instead I will be getting my motorcycle kicks vicariously through you lot more than usual.

Is there another forum I've not been told about?

Noggin, that’s a lot of balls
Today, Team Manager meeting, so full English breakfast at Whilton Marina cafe which was really nice, 4 hours in the meeting where many important decisions weren’t made, then pub. Had a couple as we were all driving, then went onto coffee.
Home, collect shopping, now about to have pate and toast with salad as I’m not massively hungry, or I wasnt until I saw Noggers balls!
Mick.

Have been discovering just how sensitive the smoke alarms are at the daughter's gaffe.
Hound is distinctly unimpressed!

LOL It is! Best thing is that I freeze them after the first fry and then take out what I want and airfry them for the second fry. I make the s&s sauce and store that in small jars so I have enough for chicken balls and rice!!

This morning I got up at 5.15am to go walk up a mountain!! Mainly cos I'd not been able to meet anyone to celebrate my pass so I thought, fuck it, I'll go walk up a mountain and have a genepi at the top to celebrate.
Didn't realise that there was no moon
Didn't realise just how icy the pistes are!!!
Turns out I walked for about 45 mins, did 2.09kms and 199m in altitude. And it didn't feel that hard!! I did stop and look at the stars quite a lot because they were so beautiful, so it took longer than 45 mins! But it seems that Strava now takes out the time that you aren't moving (it didn't used to !!). But the lack of the moonlight did make walking up on on not particularly flat and very icy piste a bit interesting!! LOL
Worth it though -
These first three are in the dark, using the night mode. So my view looked nothing like this!!!! But the photos are pretty awesome!!
Much more real as the sun came up a bit!!
Me toasting the universe and my passing the highway code with a shot of genepi!!
Skiing back down on the rough and exceptionally icy piste was 'interesting' - a lot of side slipping involved! (Intentional, not me falling over!!)

Check everything you buy against the BLC, some great savings and some not so good. Holidays, cruises and most travel stuff can be cheaper along with all insurance, plus sky tv, do t forget eating out, lots of money to be saved there too.
There’s a BLC Facebook group, lots of moaners but some useful tips there.

Cheers Mick. Going to hopefully use it in Le Shuttle for the Taipans on Tour summer holiday!
