Alright VW fans, this is about as unique and rare as they come and in typical Aspire fashion, we just had to have it and bring this amazing build to you as a prize. We've had them all from Bay's to Beetles, Buggies and Baja's but we've taken it to another level with this ultimate VW classic split camper.
So what is it you ask, well it's two splitscreen campers joined by an articulated hitch allowing the rear section to act as a trailer and 5th wheel. The cab is a 1963 body that's been hugely modified having been shortened and fully restored and even a sturdy roll bar to give it a chunky almost truck look to it. Under the two panels on the cab, you won't find any aircooled parts because it's been fitted with an Audi S2 2.0 turbocharged engine with an automatic gearbox. Then we tell you the cab un-hitches giving you a rear wheel drive shortened splitty thats an absolute riot to drive, that's surely enough to produce a little grin!
On to the rear section, the camper trailer which is made from a split screen base vehicle and has been brilliantly fabricated and features a pop-top, custom made interior, underslung fridge, LED lighting, plenty of sleeping space and storage with a huge fold away awning perfect for camping or festivals.
Just imagine pulling up to a show in this amazing VW splitscreen with that Audi engine that makes a fantastic noise, knowing for sure you will have the only one at the show.

Lolz, that's one of my cars, but mines a white 2014.

On the motorway I can get just over 40mpg at 70mph, day to day stuff I can get just over 30mpg.

If I use the loud pedal a lot it goes much, much lower.

Only my bike is my primary form of transport so things like MPG aren't an issue. That said I did swerve buying a Range Rover SVR as the MPG is just ridiculous and I dont drive quick anyway.
