I know I'm a bit dim, but surely, if she has a valid complaint about the use of the word 'midget', it should be with regards to the usage identifying small people.
I refer to my beloved Honda 400/4s as Midget Gems, having stolen the term from sweet manufacturers.

Pretty much. Someone from Marks and Sparks should have patiently explained to the complainer that midget gems aren’t people, they’re sweets.
Dwarfs have long hated the word midget being used to describe them though, it’s not a new thing.

Boils my piss that does, fucking about on the railway is a good recipe to get yourself or somebody else killed. Not only were the idiots endangering themselves but the passengers and rail staff who had to deal with them. Letting the *unts off will only embolden them.
