There's a decent enough amount to keep me interested.

WFH so thought id stick a film on in the background. Aquaman popped up on the menu, so I thought its time to give this genre a try. I got as far as Aquaman lifting a whole submarine out of the water, whilst swimming! FFS!

I've finished Star Trek Enterprise (bit weird at times) so today i'm working through 1960/1970s classic horror movies..
Lots of Vincent Price and Peter Cushing along with a bit of Jon Pertwee in this one "the house that dripped blood"
Top stuff.

Finally got around to watching this. Turns out it's more about Alzheimer's than motorbike road trips, and i'm glad i didn't stick it on whilst the wife was about, as she lost her Mum to the disease earlier this year. Not sure i'd recommend it as entertaining viewing, but if you're facing dealing with someone who has the disease, it may be helpful? If you've had experience of dealing with the disease its probably upsetting as a reminder, but also as you know what the Hemsworth family has coming. That said, seeing a father and son relive their happy memories, for whatever reason, is always nice...

Reached the end of Deep Space 9 (having started in Season 3 or 4 because that was what was on TV...but bought the complete series on DVD).
The extras at the end of season 7 were entertaining. eg interview with the chap that plays Morn - Morn speaks
and the one that plays Weyoun and the Ferengi auditor and at least 2 other roles.
Going to start at the beginning and see if I can stay interested.
Factoid: a survey was done on all the Star Trek seasons (31 at that time). Season 6 of DS9 came top.

I watched it too. As you say,not much in the way of bike action.
Worth a watch on it's own merits,I suppose. Rather harrowing that Chris Hemsworth has the genes making him a high risk of Alzheimer's too. Some things are better not known.

I was wondering about the logistics and cost of getting the family that lived in their old home out, whilst they converted it to how it used to be, and then presumably convert it back to how the current resident family want it!

Either a very accommodating family,or loads of money was offered. Or both!

It's not terrible. My problem is the only other film I've seen Rami Malek in was Bohemian Rhapsody so I kept thinking the lead character was Freddie Mercury.

The wife and I always watch a few Christmas movies during the festive season. So last night we watched this one. I was surprised to see an action hero like `Keifer Sutherland in such a film, but well done to him for not taking himself too seriously. We enjoyed the film for what it was...

I've wanted to see Peter Kay's Pheonix Nights for a while now, after seeing clips on YT. I've just recieved the complete series (just 2) on DVD as an early Christmas prezzie.
Started watching it last night, and as I suspected, I found it very funny, as I enjoy 'Northern humour'.
The night club itself, and the 'entertainment' it provides to it's members, are shite and amateurish, which is what makes it so funny to me, and many others, going by what I've heard from people who watched it years ago.
Not been shown on any channels AFAIA, for quite a while, thus the DVDs.
Worth a watch if you like Northern humour.

Yes, I probably am, as I've watched so little on the box over the last 30 years or so, and YT is my 'go to' for most of my viewing. It also points me to films and series like this, that I know little about.
I shall look up Max & Paddy's later on.
