I had a J reg Peugeot 405GTDT estate, lovely car. It had 179k when I got rid of it, the oil light used to take a couple of seconds to go out when you started the engine. It broke down when my wife was driving back from London, made a horrible rattle and lacked power. When I investigated the centre main bearing cap was in the sump and the crankshaft had broken in half
I replaced it with another 405 estate

My son's Mk4 Golf 1.9 tdi130 is on 290k, still going strong. I do regular oil and filters on it, and he regularly neglects it but it doesn't seem to mind. It's an SE, with leather, heated seats etc all working. The beam axle rusted through >> back wheel at a funny angle, but a new axle was £140 so it got fixed. 300k - fingers crossed.
Daughter has an 01 Polo gti with 220k. I like old VWs.

I had a 504 estate auto. Wouldnt have any pugrot younger than that.

I love these. Half of me thinks its 'shopped' but the bigger half says to believe it!!

Deffo not photoshopped, but these photos don't just happen. A lot of time goes into prep with a lot of feeding etc so the birds and animals are comfortable being around the equipment. Then its the waiting game...

Brilliant that they aren't! And totally get the sort of patience needed. Utterly brilliant shots tho!
