Yeah, he was never convicted, at least stick to the facts, he was an armed robber and kidnapper

He was found liable for the deaths in the civil trial, then spent the rest of his life doing everything he could to avoid paying.

Odd that his blood/DNA was found at the murder scene...

A civil trail ain't worth shit, I ain't saying he did or didn't do it, just that he wasn't convicted.

I think to most people he'll always be the murderer that got away with it. Anyway, I'll certainly not lament his passing no doubt the same as the others whose lives he ruined...

TBF he did also get 33 years for kidnapping and robbery later (as already mentioned), albeit he only served about 10 of them IIRC.

Pat Hennen. Was a great racer who's career was ended at the TT

I was over in the Island for the Formula1 TT on the Saturday (which Mike Hailwood won, and was the reason I was there) and also on the Monday for the Senior TT, in which Pat Hennen crashed and which Tom Herron won. After the euphoria of Mike's win it was a nasty shock to hear of Pat's crash. I'm sure that the motorcycle racing history books would be very different had he not had that crash.
