A bit of subterfuge is at hand...

The ones sold in Califailure these days also have a different thread pitch so you can't fit the hose from the older, efficient cans.
I remember the first (and last) time I tried to refuel a car in California. Fuck me, what is THAT on the end of the hose!

I bought a couple of detailing goops for the leather seats etc in the ST. They're being shipped from San Bernadino which is maybe 80 miles away. They left there early this morning & are now in Erlanger Kentucky... about 2000 miles away. :wtf:

These LED solar lights. They are brilliant in every sense of the word! Bought a load of them so we can have one on each fence panel!

Be interesting to hear how you get on long-term with them.

Some rechargeable batteries seem to fail after relatively few cycles (ie one per day/night) and some lamps aren't robust / waterproof.

I've had them for a few years and this is just an additional new batch. They lose a bit of oomph in the really cold weather but they hold up well overall. You can take them apart and put the batteries in a charger to bring them back up or replace them. My father-in-law has done this but I've not needed to. I think I've got most of my original batch, maybe lost one or two?

I've got them for a few older family members so they light up their paths etc. Most people are surprised at just how well they work. I should have been an importer, considering how many people I've got to buy them!

We've had the Amazon motion sensing versions up since 2018, they're still going strong

They are all over aliexpress and the price varies etc. If you get some, use them on full power, motion detecting setting. If you have them permanently on at half power they arent very good imo. We just have them to light up as we walk past them.

I've one of those at the back of the house. Very bright and very adjustable.

Been up for just less than a year with no bother so far. I haven't even cleaned the panel.

I'm tickled by the concept of a (relatively) expensive cheap Bic pen. Might get one :D
