A quick 100 miler roundtrip for a pasty, hoping it was going to be easy to find parking, no such luck, ah well there's only little old me the pavement will do;

Nobody noticed my bike fell over, twice :obscene-birdiedoublered:
I think we all assumed you had just fallen off twice as you have a bit of form for it ;)

You probably know, but the road to Atcham is pretty nice from there. From the pasty shop with river on left, go to the end, then right, then left at T junction. Nice twisty few miles. 👍

I didn't, I live south of Ironbridge so tend to come in through Much Wenlock and leave through Bridgnorth, but I'll bear it in my mind next time I'm up that way.
Today was a sod of a ride as a large part of the A49 was closed around Acton Scott, ending up spending half an hour on goat tracks to get around it

Misty Mountain Hop.

There was to be a heatwave this weekend, but it didn't happen for me. Misty, light rain and heated grips on,still it was dry in places.

I took a dander up to some of my favourite roads and I just wasn’t early enough, the roads were ridiculously busy, coming back was torture, no fun anymore.

Stopped off for a pic here at Doune Castle, the stewards kindly let me in put the bike there for a pic, she says “you’ve got 5 mins”………bossy cunt I thought 😂

Heated grips....lol  :wtf:

Been in the garden since about 5pm and just shorts on with not a cloud in the sky. I have a week away in the Peak district as from tomorrow so hopefully all this sunshine and heat will remain

94.5 but who’s counting. Aphelion at the moment so we’re pretty much the greatest distance from the sun at the moment.

I had a shortish journey I needed to do and the weather was nice so I took the KTM 390.

It recorded 99.9mpg! I wonder if it might have been even better but that's all the digits it has.

For a bike which does everything including sitting on the motorway at 70-80mph, I'm really impressed.

Ideal for a tight arse like myself.

Today, had the K12 out for a new front tyre. Or that was the plan, going down the motorway the speedo starts going nuts, got it off at the next exit and it starts spluttering and sounding like it's gonna shit bolts.

Switched it off and it was totally inert, so phoned the missus to come down with a spare battery. She came down and I got the cover off the battery. Both terminals loose. Tightened up good and tight and wham, first prod a runner.

So got down and got a new Road 6 fitted. Really is a nice feeling, like someone gave it power steering.

Run up to Abergele for a photo of Ant and Decs Castle and a bit of a sea view, Abergele, only for someone to start bloody sun bathing in front of me. Time for new tyres. 👍

I'd like to be a bit further... Monday out training, then standing in the sun for an hour whilst we got recovery organised for the trainee's bike - huge gash in the rear tyre - was brutal.
