Installed the (allegedly spiffy) new headlight bulbs... tbh, they don't look any brighter than the ones I took out, darkness will tell.

Popped up on my FB feed this morning. Looks like a Centurion conversion, I see it already has UK rot around the wheel well....

Spotted what I think was a Centurion conversion SRW F250 or 350 this morning in someones yard about 4 miles away. Bit rougher looking than my Waldoch, will get pics soon.

Spent some time dropping the spare & cleaning up under the rear end. Looking good for 28 years old.
Found a light under the truck
Tank looks good.

I bet my 5y/o car doesn't look that good underneath
I've spotted 3 of these behemoths locally now. Perfect four our small roads

Even saw someone trying to squeeze the 4 wheel version down Newlands pass in the Lake District (narrow single track with passing places).
Locally the only stationary one is outside the owners house so not fair to post pics. All seem pretty shabby but in our weather but I guess that's to be expected for their age.

You mean in his front yard or on the street?

It's a narrow access road so it's straddling the pavement, I'd have to stand on his drive to take a pic aimed away from the house. Leave it with me ill try to get a pic

VNE - aeronautical term for 'never exceed speed'

Garage:
Finished grinding out the last of the stress cracks & other damage on the F350 running boards. Will get busy with the gel-coat filler mix tomorrow.
Garage associated:
After that I dropped by the auto-body class at the local college & had a word with the instructor (who remembers me from 20 years ago) about having their guys spray the running boards to match the rest of the truck (Oxford White, running boards are plain white gelcoat). He told me to come by again in two weeks as he is running an evening refinish class. Class started on the 16th & he needs a couple of weeks to work out who the idiots are.
Plan is for me to finish the repairs, do some prep, remove the lights & rubber pads etc, drop the running boards off the truck & then take them over to the college.
Cost is materials & pizza.
