That would be the 1.9 TD, I guess? They do seem to run forever and are reasonably quick even by today's standards. Yeah, pretty old tech, but solid. I had a 57 plate Focus with the 1.8 TDCi engine and that motor was built like a tank. I was a bit pissed off when someone drove into the side of it and wrote it off. Modern Toyotas and Lexus are pretty safe IMO.
