It’s off-topic, but Sharron Davies is one of the more prominent commentators on “the gender wars” regarding trans issues — including writing a book on trans athletes in sports. She’s argued against biological males being allowed to self-ID as female to compete in women’s sports.

Bang on topic if you ask me. It takes extraordinary bravery these days to stand up against the woke mob. Extraordinary.

I bet she’s not allowed to shop at Wickes….
Or Currys. They've announced 12months leave for 'gender reassignment'.

AO from now on.

I was never going to 'argue it with you'. It's like a spider inviting a fly to discuss it 'back at my place'...

This is all fine. Probably, could've, didn't, it doesn't matter to me.
But you're no more qualified to lecture us on the civil war than mango is. Or law for that matter.

And this is one of the problems with modern day silly politics. You have bellends like Farage and Johnson presenting themselves as champions of the people and it's lapped up. You -could- write a paper on the similarities with the English Civil War, I'm sure it would be eloquently presented and score highly. I'd like to read it. With a few tweaks it would also make for some thought provoking opinion-piece commentary by one of the Telegraph hacks.

But this is still basically all about Farage being a whiny pussy.

Back to patronising, then. Foolish of me to expect anything else.
Get a grip lad, you had a pop at me.
If you don't want to be patronised then don't have a go at me on a subject where you're way out of your depth, like I said I don't argue engineering with Dazzle because he'd do it to me, or downhill MTBs with Weeksy for that matter.
Ah diddums. Someone contradicts something you've said and you have to 'teach them a lesson'. How juvenile.

Let's turn the tables.

Imagine this happened to Gary Linekar, would it still be ok?

He is.
But I also think it raises interesting points about how free you think you are and how you're actually not - this is basically what caused the English civil war.
As mentioned several pages ago, that really shouldn't come as much of a revelation to anyone who thinks about it for more than about 17 seconds.

It's not even an oppression thing either, that's just the inevitable consequence of living in a large and complicated society.

Ita enough to make you stockpile canned food and build a shelter in your garden if you let it consume you too much :D

Gary Linekers Coutts account taken away and 'forced' to downgrade to NatWest? Yeah, hilarious.

Is Lineker that poor though?

You have a pop at me and then cry when I laugh at your 3rd year school comments, and then apparently I'm the childish one

I have 23 minutes left on the battery charger for my hedge trimmer, so I'm on here whilst having a brew.
Tell me again how much you hate Farage, can you do it with a 4th year mentality this time
It's like watching a Tiger take a budgie out watching you two, this is hilarious. I love it when mango goes full Frank Spencer, it is real entertainment.

It's pointless going to uni these days, or having any peer-reviewed expertise, the real scholars are hiding out in YouTubes. Looking for the truth, which is right up there with the ads money.

My inner magpie has been triggered by that little lot. What projects did you buy them for that never materialised?
