They've got the same 90hp from a 1200 that Honda are getting from a 750, so I expect they could get a fair part of the reduction in emissions done in other ways like reducing valve overlap, keeping revs down, etc., without having such a big and hot catalyst in there? Either way, I bet that'll keep one of your legs warm in winter (and very hot in summer).

I'm sure it's fine, Honda know their stuff, but the visible parts of that frame still look ridiculously weedy and cheap.

That's the problem, it'll probably be a good bike but it looks exactly what it is budget. Having said that at 20 I'd have been all over it and that's the point of it

I see Motobob has uploaded a review on his YT channel.
For the money it sounds like a bargain.I'm more interested in the Transalp version.It's the first time in years that I've been interested in a Honda

Snatchy throttle. Seems to be a running theme with newer motorbikes. Is this an emissions thing?

I watched some of the motobob vid yesterday, the dash looks great, love all the options for different layouts.

It's a big Superdream, the Suzuki is a big GSX400, the Yamaha a big XS400 and the Kawasaki a big Z440, commuter bikes the lot of them, none of them inspire me to go and buy one, does anyone on here plan to buy one?

I had an XS400 and despite the fact it was the modernised SE version it was pretty much the 2nd worse bike i have ever owned. The worst one was a Superdream

And this’ll be a journo or influencer telling us how it handles etc etc when the reality is they’re a shit rider…..par for the course though

If the price is as cheap as I've heard in the media then yes,I'm onsidering one,not as a desirable motorcycle,more as a tool for the job (cheap tourer that I can load up with luggage & camping gear) & sell when it's done the job,or keep forever as a no frills runaround bike..

I've just read that the Suzuki GSX-8S is going to be £7,999, a whole grand more than the Hornet!
