And of course, I can't talk drink without mentioning Amaro....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amaro_(liqueur)
I'd recommend Lucano and the slightly lighter but more herbal Tosolini (no sniggering at the back). Serve over ice with a slice of orange.

Just finishing off a can of Tiny Rebel's Stay Puft.

It's a Marshmallow Porter, not usually my thing, I wouldn't want to spend all day drinking it, but it's quite nice as a one off. Got a proper roasted marshmallow after taste.

It's craft beer day!

So now on to the Amundsen Dessert in a can - Triple Berry Pavlova.

I wished I'd not just bought beer based on the label design and read the percentage. This stuff is 10.5% and you can tell. It's like fruity special brew. I'm going to struggle to finish it.

Fucking beer. Now only Tesco sell Gluten free beer in this town and even then its only one brand Tennents Lager. Went on Friday to get some for the W/E and they are sold out and not getting any more till the 13th. Pricks, so its Australian Red from Aldi tonight.

Mostly McEwans Champion recently but I've had a few nice Porters recently and as I just watched somthing about the difference between Stout and Porter I'll be looking out for more of those now.

Finally you can get half decent beer out here without having to creep around specialist shops like a weirdo. It must be suddenly trendy or something.
So I've had a few tins of brewdog with my pizza.

Last time i had San Miguel must have been early 90's. I remember it getting quite trendy round Edinburgh so got stupid price tags so never bothered much after that what was a shame as it is quite enjoyable. I notice they sell a GF option also what is a bonus  Daura Damm is another nice one from the land of hairy lady armpits.

Aye, same here. The local Booze Busters is selling a few good beers now.
Not long ago it was loads of Ciders and Gins, I'm ok with some of the gins but the ciders were waay too sweet.

I love the fact that beer is trendy now

There's some proper shit amongst the good stuff though. 'Tis the problem with something being cool and Instagram I guess. People are no adulterating beer with all sorts of crap and its sometimes hard to tell until it's too late.

I bought some groovy beer in Waitrose that had cappuccino in it. Really disgusting, surprised Waitrose would do such a thing. You'd expect it of Tesco or Morrison but I always assumed Waitrose was patrolled by the owner with a perpetual sneer on his face, knocking things off shelves.

Waiting for my friend to come over so that we can drink some of this together. Got to organise a good meal and a sleep over!

Bought my friend a bottle of this for his birthday:

Along with two nice Dartington crystal glasses which a mate engraved for me.

We got stuck into the bottle and it was very agreeable with ice and a slice of orange peel.
