If he didn't already have a project, he could buy a cheap ST4 and make a replica.

Not interesting to anyone else, but the blue and white GSXR in the background was mine when the picture was taken at Santa Pod in 1991, found on Facebook

They were designed to fit in a specific space in a Honda (my mind says Civic) boot.

I admire whet they're done but IMO the styling is wrong for that engine character.

I saw something very similar to that in Norwich yesterday, looked and sounded really good.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Why a bloody 250? Couldn't they have made it a 350 for only a slightly bigger price tag? The cycle parts would handle the extra capacity. It's not like anyone's going to race it.Horse wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 10:47 pm Langen? Never heard of them!

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Wouldn't cost anymore to make it a 350, a 500 or a 750, big pistons cost the same to make as little pistonsmangocrazy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 6:16 pmWhy a bloody 250? Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Yes, absolutely. But 350 twins have a long and illustrious (?!) history, whereas 500 twins are much scarcer. Just boring it out to 350cc would improve rideability at lower revs, and the state of tune wouldn't need to be so high, improving reliability. Limiting it to 250cc is madness. Anywhere between 350 and 400cc would be the sweet spot for me.
