I needed one and I'm sure as hell not paying 7.50 for one on eBay when I can spend a few hours making one.

Yeah thanks, that ones not quite finished yet, I normally just cut up a bit of old inner tube. Helps stop it sliding off as well.

Serviced my lads Corsa and fixed a bust fog light, then dragged out the leaf sucker and hoovered up 3 big sacks of leaves from the bloody Ash tree.
Then realised chain needed adjusting on my Trumpet, so did that and also filled up the Scottoiler
Thats me done for the day bow.....

Busy, busy today.
Sorted my pals cush drive on his BMW.
Took MTB for suspension fixing.
Went to organise a new pool cover.
Long dog walk on the beach.
Nice lunch at our fave beach bar.
Now on the patio building up to my afternoon nap. It's later than normal, but these things are sent to try us.

Cut my lawns. Mainly because we're having new french doors fitted tomorrow and I know my Mrs will say, doesn't the garden look messy. So I'm getting ahead of that curve!

Went kitesurfing, learning to ride a strapless directional (surfboard). Steep learning curve for sure.

Drove a Dacia Duster. I know Yorick loves his but they ain’t a motorway car. Seems to wander a lot!!
The listened to a very hypocritical dial in, had to dial out before I lost it!!
Now home where the girlfriend is making pork chops!!!
And drinking wine while I chill, she does look after me very well!!
Nights from tomorrow so chillin before I vacuum the back garden to get rid of all the leafs tomorrow.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Accidentally, but somewhat successfully, did some shoplifting.
Picked up a phone card at the store while acquiring vittles. Put it on my shirt pocket, then forgot about it until I got home & discovered it.
Had to go back & pay for it anyway as it wasn't activated. Quite happy with my 90 day/$19.99 phone bill

My Stepmum died today and I had to break the news to my Dad. Not the best day ever.
Covid restrictions are making the funeral arrangements very difficult,I feel like I've spent the day wading through treacle.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Over here we rarely get above 60. It's a great off road car for the price, and not too bad generally. It wouldn't be my first choice as a road car. But for the price, we can bang it off road without worrying about all the scratches and dings. There's a lot LOL.

Condolences. It is hard breaking news to family. Lost a good mate yesterday to brain cancer.
