Currently waiting 2 hours for the AA. So if anyway happens to be near the Kettering A14 services and has an Audi type F locking key then do pop by

When I broke a wheel a couple of years ago most replacements I found were around £600 each, with the alternative being to buy 4 aftermarket ones for slightly more there's still a market for nicked wheels.Skub wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 10:54 amEvery car I've owned gets those fuckers removed. You are probably right. Slenver drives fancy motas doesn't he?

Also true I guess my view depends on whether I have a puncture at the time or notMussels wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 11:09 amWhen I broke a wheel a couple of years ago most replacements I found were around £600 each, with the alternative being to buy 4 aftermarket ones for slightly more there's still a market for nicked wheels.Skub wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 10:54 amEvery car I've owned gets those fuckers removed. Wheels on the car are away for Refurb so I’m spending the day, washing, de-tarring, clay bar, cutting & polishing every panel on the car whilst it’s sunny & dry

The sun is shinning but it's f f freezin' and I'm due to go out on the bike for a short run for the first time in weeks with only 50 miles in the tank so hoping I can find some petrol soon.
Strange times again but getting used to a constantly changing and challenging world. I guess it's best to deal with each day as it comes and to know you've done your best whatever the circumstances.
Vladimir Putin's speech on the 24th Feb reminded me of a quote I heard at the start of the track Evil and Harm by Younger Brother and looked up as it was so chilling. This is from Rodrigo de Bastidas, Spain's "Noblest Conquistador" on the founding of Santa Marta.
"I assure you that with the help of God I will enter powerfully against you, and I will make war on you in every place and in every way that I can, and I will subject you to the yoke and obedience of the church and their highnesses, and I will take your persons and your women and your children, and I will make them slaves, and as such I will sell them, and dispose of them as their highnesses command: I will take your goods, and I will do you all the evils and harms which I can, just as to vassals who do not obey and do not want to receive their lord, resist him and contradict him. And I declare that the deaths and harms which arise from this will be your fault, and not that of their highnesses, nor mine, nor of the gentlemen who have come with me here."

I understand that completely!! I'm sure you have, but tell him from one that has been broken over the years - do what the medical peeps say and it saves a lot of hassle in later years!!
If I'd have thought I'd survive this long, I'd have taken better care of myself!

In 2005 I raced on a borrow Ducati 996 just 9 days after breaking my wrist. The doctors said 6-8 weeks....

Decent strapping/support and I'm sure he'll be fine
Better to regret the things we do/have done that the things we didn't do!
