We're revisiting this now.
One thing that bothers me is why is furniture built for midgets. Some of the stuff is so low I'll be looking through my knees like a gun sight!
Like I said earlier, we sat on loads before buying the (2 different suppliers) sets we have.
And, as I said earlier, you'll need covers too.

John Lewis had the answer. Job jobbed and 12 months interest free too, so didnt even have to lay out any of my hard earned!

And depending on the shape and style, you may need to get creative with stacking cushions to ensure water drains and doesn't pool on the covers.

We normally put covers in the loft for winter.

I know you're in Essex, but surely it occasionally rains in the summer?
And anyway, if it's in the loft you'll never find it again

Cinema prices.
Got a few hours to kill in Kingston this Saturday and wondered what to do. "Cinema, maybe?" I think.
I check the morning shows and there's that Hugh Jackman sheep thing showing in one of the tiny screens. Out of curiosity I see how much it is for one ticket.
£18.95! plus £2 booking fee
WTF!?
That's just a standard seat for a standard movie. Not a fancy recliner watching a film in 3D IMAX 4DX.
Oh, and on top of that, what sort of main dealer doesn't provide loan cars?

Fuck that, go find a Vue cinema instead, although they've put their price up, 6 quid for a standard seat now

Yeah, I normally go to Vue, as you say £6.

Snows perchance?
They promised collection and redelivery for servicing.
Then they stopped it.
Then the buggers moved servicing an extra 30 miles away,
Then they stopped having loan cars for servicing
And their new servicing place is bloody miles out of the actual town.
Which is why I no longer have a car from them.

No, Berry.
Fuck all around there and a pain in the arse to and from for me. I can walk to the main town but it's not worth the effort to get public transport home. Which is why I was looking at killing time with a movie. At least it's saturday and I only have the morning to waste, not the whole day.

Store managers that have a stick up their arse.
A couple of days ago I stopped at a convenience store/petrol station to fill up a bike. The automatic cutoff failed (yeah, poor obs on my part) and I ended up with a good quart of petrol all over the tank, seat, and floor. I pushed the bike out of the puddle and went inside to let someone know about the fail. An employee pointed me to the manager. I told him what happened and asked for a bucket and water source to rinse of my bike. He pointed across the room to no particular area and mumbled: "There's water over there. No one has had a problem before." He said this as he was walking out to the pump. He looked at the petrol on the floor, then looked at the pump, and walked back in. The employee was a bit more helpful and provided a small dustbin for me to use as a bucket and pointed out a sink off in a corner by the coffee counter. I ran an errand and swung back by an hour later. The pump wasn't blocked off. Mind it has a separate nozzle for each fuel grade, so he could have bagged the one that failed.

Happened to me once and all over a hot engine.

I never sit on bike when filling.

I never sit on the bike while fueling either. I'm glad it was the Suzuki. Water cooled and the exhaust is pretty well tucked away.

I've done it a time or 2 on the Harley, mostly due to the stupid filler opening and having to burp the tank to get it anywhere near full, still it's not burst into flames yet

I did same many moons back on a ZZR-1100.
The little hose from the tank to the valve split and dumped the entire contents of the full tank on the forecourt, 18l from memory. Ran in to the attendant as had a nice flammable lake spreading but all they were interested in was me paying for the fuel - zero shits given about the fire risk!
