The album finally came back down to a normal price so I grabbed one off of Amazon. Playing it now and ripping it down for my phone. Great album.Slenver wrote: Thu Sep 14, 2023 12:07 pmThat's excellent work! Very pleased to have been of some helpTaipan wrote: Thu Sep 14, 2023 10:48 am@Slenver Finally got round to watching it. HTF he wasn't on my radar I don't know. What an incredible and remarkable story! Album will be bought. There's a second album too which is also great, though the first one is the real classic.
For reference, when I watched the film the first time, there was a South African at my work. Probably about 25, so too young to have been there at the time, but I asked him about Rodruigez to see if the film had exaggerated anything. He told me it was exactly like the film said and that everyone there knows his music as much as they do Hendrix or Bob Marley.
You mean the fact that they all played by old blokes?

Mine also, a sadly underrated actress who gave some great and well judged performances. She was smouldering in Drop the Dead Donkey and terrifying in The Windsors.Bigjawa wrote: Sat Oct 21, 2023 10:40 am
