I've clearly not defined the terms of the challenge tightly enough... Here we go:

A navigable waterway, either man-made or natural, which contains a lock or number of locks, at a point where it bisects - or is bisected by - a thoroughfare for the use of vehicles, horses, cycles or pedestrians, either by the use of a bridge, or similar structure, or a tunnel.

Water on a bridge is an aqueduct. Bridge over water is a viaduct.....

I'm certainly claiming the viaduct! Reckon it's down to Davie Lad and his Canal Bridge winner to name the new challenge.
