I assume Rwanda are happy accepting potential immigrants from the uk, I mildly wonder how much we pay Rwanda to accept them, aswel as the individual payments. 🤷🏻‍♂️

UK is providing £370 million in development funding to Rwanda, plus another £120 million once 300 people have been relocated. The UK will also pay up to £171,000 per person relocated, largely to cover a five-year integration package. To date, £240 million has been paid over.

The best bit is that no one mentions that the deal is reciprocal so we could potentially be receiving refugees from Rwanda

All those economic migrants trying to sneak into Rwanda will find themselves deported to Britain?

But what if it works and people decide not to come here because they might get sent to Africa?

Say 100k people stay in France instead of crossing the channel, how much would that have saved us in homing, feeding and benefits?

I've no idea, just playing devil's advocate.

Just saw on the news that volunteers get 3 grand to bugger off to Rwanda.

Stay there a couple of weeks, then head for Calais again.

Like they said in the Malayan Emergency: it’s cheaper to pay them than to fight them.

That'd fix a fair few potholes. 🤦‍♂️

The Australian "Ship 'em off" policy worked.

Boat traffic virtually disappeared.

In the US, the surviving perp would be charged with the murder of his accomplice.

Tis a violent Britain we love in today, so I can't say I blame him for not taking any chances.
