The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

That's what the commentators implied.

I was audible when he crossed the line - but worse was during the medal ceremony. Looks like the French have descended to the same level as the American golf audience

Piss poor by the French crowd, makes me even more happy TP beat him. What a move and frenchie just didn't expect it, totally caught him off guard, therefore causing the near collision. TP was deffo ahead.Mr Moofo wrote: Mon Jul 29, 2024 5:58 pmI was audible when he crossed the line - but worse was during the medal ceremony. Imagine if he won the road race as well? I know it's a massively tall order for that mind you.

It’s a poster, have a bronze, silver or gold border matching the medal.Mr Moofo wrote: Mon Jul 29, 2024 3:07 pmWhat’s in the box they get given?weeksy wrote: Mon Jul 29, 2024 2:40 pmYEah was very much a 50-50, Victor just caught his back wheel on a rock which slowed him and it killed him off.. with 1km or so to go i honestly thought he had it when he went past Pidcock... Just watching BBC highlights.
Some girl sports are good. Some shit
The women's gymnastics was utterly fantastic and got 2 minutes.
Now women's rugby 7s. Shite and boring.
I'd rather watch a slo mo vid of my dog having a shit.

MMMmmmmm not seen this... but the whole concept of this makes my eyeballs twitch. There's some sports where i see transgender being a minor issue... and some where i see it as a MAJOR issue... Boxing is deffo in the latter.
