Now there's a thing I never use on the road. Well maybe if I'm tooting at someone I know,the odd time.

Same, but I had cause to use it last week, along with throwing several hand gestures, and I couldn't hear the bloody thing over the music that was playing in my helmet.

Yeah, but nah this needed doing, but yeah if I've a few shekles that haven't been assigned then I've no aversion to throwing them at the bike

Well that particular volley missed this years season, still all showing as back ordered :angry-cussingblack: , with a little luck they'll come in over winter and give me something to tinker with in the garage :banana-wrench:

Currently toying with the idea of a new seat, the factory fitted one ain't bad but my tail bone gets a might sore and one ass cheek falls asleep / goes numb after a couple or 3 hours.

I bought a Mustang seat for my Sportster after advice from many Harley owners. Sat on it and thought, it doesn't feel very comfortable at all, but the weird thing was it just never got uncomfortable and did break in a bit too. Best seat I've had on abike, unlike the Yamaha comfort seat I now have on the MT, of which I'm sure I must have a case against Yamaha under the trade descriptions act!

I bought a Bagster (French outfit) seat for my Zed,which is a great job. It'll be comfy for as long as you want to sit. The original item gave me grief from around 90 miles,then the law of diminishing returns after that. It's bloody miserable riding along and knowing you have to stop,not because you want to,but because your arse hurts.

Money well spent imo.

Likewise, I've got a comfort seat on my MT-09, think it's a Bagster though. It's not comfy.

I bought a Corbin seat for my GS - it lasted two rides
I bought a Corbin seat for the Diavel ( because it was cheap on eBay). It is hard and flat. My arse isn't

They do have to break in, or at least most say they get more comfortable as you use them? A guy told me his Yamaha comfort seat took about a 1000 miles before it lived up to its name! :wtf: I think my plan maybe to send my standard seat to someone to get a gel pad in or suchlike. A few people seem to have had good success with this?

Yeah it ain't great looks wise.
Functionally it did the job, but as I've been losing weight I don't have as much padding on my arse so starting to notice the cheap foam offering no support after a couple of hours

Who knew a simple* oil change could require so much tat to get done cleanly;

*simple it may be, but draining and refilling 3 separate holes / compartments of oil won't be as quick as I'm used to, I'll worry about getting the oil next month
