The panniers were at the hotel. My bike jeans were the only long trouser I had on that trip.

I usually only take two sets of footwear too, bike boots and a pair of flip flops.

For 5 days in Scotchland I took..
5 pairs of chipmunks
5 pairs of socks
5 T shirts

Everything fitted in a tankbag and I just threw the worn clothes in the bin every day.

When you include wimmin,it gets.....moar.

1 pair of shreddies per day!

Japanese 'em, you get four days. Right way round, back to front, turn 'em inside out, repeat.

It's all on the sniff test, I've found with socks, 2 days easy, swap over for 2 days, then the other seem OK again. 😁👍 Multi pack briefs and bin when absolutely necessary.

I like touring Europe in the camper with the family but if I was going on my own it would be on the bike. I wouldn’t even dream of going touring in a car unless it was something quirky. Having had a couple of Westfields I’m pretty sure the bike would be more comfortable.

We’ve got a 330i convertible and I’ve had a tvr, an Elise and a few roofless kit cars. I’ve never been interested in touring in them.
