Using myself as a (probably untypical) example,I bought my Zed new in 2020. I took the 600 mile dealer service because it was free,but I'm at 12k now and I have no intention of ever going back to the dealer for a service. I dump the oil and filter every 4k and ride on.

I only ever bother with proper dealer services when there's a warranty in place, once that's timed out the service book get's filed away never to be seen again

It's got them. There's three BMW services with official paper invoices from BMW Guildford.
02/09/16 - 552 miles (Running in check)
29/03/21 - 14000 miles £875.89
11/04/22 - 15815 miles £425.16

Everyone else I've spoken to is a bit meh about the lack of service between 552 and 1400, so maybe I should be too, it does come with a three month warranty afterall.

£875.89? What did they do? Go and mine some new dilithium crystals on Pluto? (At those prices he probably had the in-between services done at FCL in Cranleigh. I would have!)

Not that I'm getting excited or anything, but I've just read the 2016 Triple Black gets ABS Pro rather than the normal ABS of the earlier bikes.

ABS Pro = Cornering ABS!

I don't think I'm going to give it a try, unless I really need too.

Their early ones were £1k!* (Size and weight of a brick - but worked well until old and unsupported).

The Nav 6 is made by Garmin and notoriously unreliable, apparently the v2 is much better.

You can get all the info from the bike to display on the Nav screen and control it all with the magic wheel on the left bar.

I thought they'd sorted the issues (and were up to Version 7 of the VI?). Should come with a long warranty too. TBH never had any problems with my old BMW one or a Garmin that I bought when the bike one went - with one of the bikes). Used to swap it between bikes and use it in the car but with the Garmin one just popped it in the map compartment on the tank bag.

From the sounds of all the system integration your evenings should be full....reading manuals!
