Looks like a Molex of some description, try RS components.....Supermofo wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 11:27 am
So this makes Sat Nav easier as can go straight to the headlight. Anyone know what type of connector this is?

Presume I just put the matching connector on my Sat nav wires and Bob's your uncles mother or something?

Re: GSXS 1000 - Mofo's Gixxus
I phoned them last Thursday and they offered me from this Monday which I was shocked at as expected it to be a longer wait but thinking of booking this week for a couple of weeks time just in case. With the KTM I had to wait over a month!

Remember you owe all the people who told you to buy it a ride.

Bugger Evotech are out of stock of the rad guard. I've asked them to message me. The R&G version doesn't look as good and looks more involved in terms of fitting. So looks like I'll be waiting.

Re: GSXS 1000 - Mofo's Gixxus
Evotech don't have them listed for the GSXR K7. Had a look on the R&G site and seems to be different part numbers for the 750 and GSXS so I'd assume not? Which is a bugger.weeksy wrote: Thu Mar 31, 2022 11:46 amhave a look and see if it'll fit from a gsxr750 K7 as i've got one in my loft.Supermofo wrote: Thu Mar 31, 2022 11:44 am Bugger Evotech are out of stock of the rad guard. I could ask when I take mine in for the first service as assume they'll know from parts fiche. Doubt I'll have sorted one by then.

I've never had a rad guard on any of mine and they travelled silly speeds most of the time.

Re: GSXS 1000 - Mofo's Gixxus
It's less the speeds more the stupid amount of surface dressing and crap roads we have. Currently a huge number of roads are closed my way and I'd bet at least 90% will be surfaced dressed which leaves billions of stones thrown up for months. On my 690 I had several stone chips in the fork legs so quickly got a rad guard as they are a lot less hardcore than a fork top. I've also had a note at my last 2 car services noting the stone damage to the A/C rad.Yorick wrote: Thu Mar 31, 2022 12:27 pm I've never had a rad guard on any of mine and they travelled silly speeds most of the time.
To be fair I reckon you'd be unlucky to lose a rad to it but if you did that's 600 notes.
But I'll get one when I can rather than rush.

Re: GSXS 1000 - Mofo's Gixxus
Went out Sunday morning with my brother and his mate just up to Saffron Waldon and back via Thaxted.
2nd gear is sooooooooooo much fun
The engine has so much stomp it's awesome.
Still not enjoying the tyres they just don't inspire any confidence so I'm finding myself riding slower round corners than usual but the engine means I can fire it out like a twat on the way out. Probably a safer way of riding but will be happier when new boots get fitted but that'll wait for now as I'm too Steptoe to replace serviceable tyres so these will stay this summer at least.
About to book the first service as at 500 miles now and hopefully the worst of the weather is behind us.
