Covid Vaccine Side Effects

Had second Pfizer last Friday. Sore arm for a day or two and that was it. Same as the first time around.

God was on your side. I'm an atheist and I had the same side effects for both Pfizer jabs, so just goes to show that God isn't prejudiced. Maybe.

Doesn't appear to be a very nice thing to do that, seems quite mocking of someone's religious beliefs

Perhaps they shouldn't give the jabs in the arm? "Turn the other cheek" and all that

Not mocking, merely indirectly questioning the existence of a God.

My personal view - we have no higher purpose. We are born fashioned from particles of the cosmos, we become sentient and live, then we die and those particles which make us are returned to the cosmos. But for the avoidance of doubt, what we do while we are sentient beings matters to those sentient beings who we co-exist with and those who follow us. 

Your view may be different, no probs.

No worries Weeksy. People believe what they do, I'm happy to put the historical and theological evidence for the Christ and his resurrection. You can lead the Horse to the water, but you cannot force him to drink, even if it is the water of life. The vaccine has no religion and thankfully works on all so I give thanks for that. Most importantly stay safe, stay healthy and be kind to one another.

Had my second jab yesterday. No side effects that i've noticed

After the first I was wiped out for about 36 hours - a friend was the same

We both had the second yesterday and he feels totally rubbish today. I'm Weird!

It's my life belief too btw. Those who believe in a God do not deserve more respect than those who do not.

I am willing to bet that if the_priest and I met we would agree to disagree about our beliefs/disbeliefs, but would agree on how we should live our lives and treat other people.

Shivering in bed last night and now generally aching all over with a fair headache as well.

From what I heard if I still have a headache a few days later then its possibly an issue but at this early stage its kind of expected.

I have absolutely no problem with you or anyone else trying to poking fun, or questioning in any way, what they might see as my beliefs or as they might see it, lack of beliefs consistent with their own.

Fits what my wife went through after her AZ jab. She was fine on day 3 and no extra limbs or superpowers.

Had the jab about 2pm yesterday, woke up this morning with a headache and dull ache in my bones.

I don't think the hangover is helping either.

No superpowers? That's not what my wife tells me.

Mind you, she had an AZ jab in January, followed by a Pfizer jab in early April, with another Pfizer jab due in May.

COVID-19 vaccine side effects
Most side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine are mild and should not last longer than a week, such as:

a sore arm where the needle went in
feeling tired
a headache
feeling achy
feeling or being sick
You can take painkillers, such as paracetamol, if you need to.

You may get a high temperature or feel hot or shivery 1 or 2 days after having your vaccination.

But if you have a high temperature that lasts longer than 2 days, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste you may have COVID-19. Stay at home and get a test.

If your symptoms get worse or you are worried, call 111.

I took Paracetamol and i don't know if it helped, but it wasn't terrible for me.

Within 72 hours i was back cycling, i was on my fastest ever pace and setting personal records, so can safely say i was over it within 72 hours.

I had it Monday and have nothing in terms of arm pain etc, so all good for me.

We had AZ on Thursday afternoon.
Woke up achey and with a bad headache Friday, I stuck it out for work, but she felt worse than me and took a day off. Paracetamol helped a bit.
Saturday morning felt better but tired. Felt more normal by the end of the day.
Today pretty much ok, slight bruise feel at the jab location.
