Forgot to update this. It's a rather nice cider, not too sweet and easy to sink without finding it overly sickly after a few pints and I'm happily drinking my way through it. Sort of hoping my mate don't like it and I'll have his 20L as well :D

Taylors 2017 LBV Port. Rather nice it is. Given to me by a friend who does not drink port.

Best sort of friend to have. Most of mine do drink port, especially my port.

A friend got through a whole bottle of my port, afterwards claiming he thought it was 'only wine'.

Yeah, right...

I experimented with alcohol free beer last year, just for those 2,3,4 weeknights, not Friday, Saturday or Sunday, oh, and Thursday. In the end I went for Hot chocolate. 🍵

I seem to have developed a taste for Armagnac over the last few years, odd that, my father loved it but i hated it when i was drinking with him regularly.

Currently enjoying this.

Yeah. Same here. The best I found was the Moretti one, but even then it lacks that certain bite that you only get with alcohol. I've even tried the Beavertown low alcohol session IPA which is 2.3% IIRC, but it still doesn't quite hit the taste sport.

If I'm driving or just not drinking I'l go with one of the poncy tonics with ice and a bit of random fruit in it.

Whilst on the subject of the evil drink, Lathwaites have got some cracking mixed dark reds and if you register as a new customer and use code 30AFFQ3 you get an extra 30% off. Well worth doing. I didn't buy any as I'm fully stocked, but my mate did and two cases, got free delivery and a 'surprise bottle' for c. £6 a bottle. Almost criminal.

Dark Star is local to me - so have been buying Hophead, American Pale Ale and Revolution direct from the brewery.

I alway have been a great red wine lover (probably great in terms of volume rather that quality) but just recently it has all gone a bit meh! I can handle full bodied , hair on you chest stuff - but outside of that, I can't be bothered.
I have have even considered drinking white wine.

Where do I hand my man card in to?

Re Gremlin's post - a few years ago after being given some really nice Rioja, I registered with Naked Wines.
I wish I haded - the site and process was just awful. Fortunately leaving them was easy ...

Genepi

most people have a single shot as a 'digestive' after dinner.

I have a tumbler and drink it throughout the evening :)

Laithwaites do push a subscription service, but it's not obligatory. I just order as and when I need to or when a decent deal comes along, The way I look at it, it ain't milk, so I don't have to worry about it going off. :)

I'm into my big reds, like Nero D'Avola, Primitivo/Zinfandel, Merlot. Never used to touch white as it was a bit acidic, but recently got into Verdicchio and Sauv Blanc.

BTW, I'd post the link to the section of Laithwaites I was referring to, but my puritanical employer has deemed it inappropriate. FFS.
