I met her a few times in the 80's. My mate played the gay, black, home help in "In Sickness And In Health", I went to watch it being filmed a few times and met her in the bar afterwards. A genuinely nice person.

Austin Mitchell MP A thoroghly nice chap, he was the first main TV anchorman at Yorkshire television along side Richard Whiteley. He decided to run as a labour Mp for Grimsby which he held to this day. i remember the first day I was on the film crews we filmed a documentary about the commissioning of the Selby coalfield, 20 years later he presented another film of the demise of the coal industry, we saw it in and out as he remarked at the time. He always had time for a chat regardless as to your position on the crew. RIP.

So sad to see that today. Went to see him locally many years ago when i didnt really know a lot of his stuff. I spent the entire show crying laughing and was a fan ever since. His stuff is so close to the knuckle but the delivery and timing was just perfection. He will be hugely missed
