Forum popularity, google searches, etc ?

Time for you lot to put in some legwork as i have sod all idea on this stuff.

Assuming people use Gogle, Bing etc ... Then how do i increase the boards ranking within them ?

I have 'bots' which are the associated code that directs/redirects i think, but i just don't know any more than that.

So, get Googling and find out how we increase the odds of people finding us.

Of course i like the 'community' of the regulars etc, but if content isn't posted, forums die, we have all seen it before and we'll all see it again.. I'd rather this isn't the case here.

Was still doing some research and thoughts on this, i think a few FB mentions would potentially go a long way guys.

Particularly on FB groups that have potential to reach a wider audience like Trackday groups, custom bike groups, etc.

It's times like this that maybe i ought to have an FB account myself... but i'm still trying to stay away from FB so it's down to you lot more than it's down to me

I'm the same, no FB account. Well, actually I've three, but I've been locked out of all of them because FB thinks I'm a bot because I won't give them the info they crave.

I'll Happily create and admin the FB Page for you - there's a lot of old VDers on FB who didn't spend any time on TRC.

So being an FB oage management virgin, since you startred rthe pics of bikes I realised I hadn't created a group, only created the page to like. I've now created the group which should invite people to join - we might have to repeat the bike pic thing to get things going! - all the fuckwit points go to me!
