Slugs
This is a new one for me.
I came out to the bike a couple of days ago and there were slug slime trails over various surfaces. Man they were a twat to remove. If I'd left them another day or so I think they'd have etched into the paintwork.
Next day the little snottery khunts had been busy again, cue more panic induced scrubbing.
Last night I got busy with the table salt and administered some punitive justice around the outside of the garage and laid a circle of salt around the bike.
It'll be garlic bulbs, dancing naked and hexagrams next ffs.

Beer traps work wonders but careful it doesn't catch you.

Re: Slugs
Possibly the most vile creatures on the planet. We have a family of yellow ones. They have taken up residency under the waterbut lid. When I feel like it, I turn the lid upside down and place on the lawn, so their predators can eat, but does seem they have none and they just slide to the underside, then I turn it over again and so on. After an hour or so, I replace the lid back on the water but, but one thing for sure, they ain't getting any of my beer.

Re: Slugs
Copper tape on the floor around the bike. Unless of course the slugs are living in the bike, in which case it fucked and I'll do you a favour and take it off your hands for £500

Probably an air-box infestation. Quite common in damp countries. Unfortunately the only way to sort it is to burn 'em out.derek badger wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 7:23 am Copper tape on the floor around the bike. Unless of course the slugs are living in the bike....

Re: Slugs
As a temporary solution I poured salt around the bike as it sat on the Abba stand, but it wasn't until I took the bike out I realised what I'd drawn.
