CBT training in Devon or Cornwall

Post by cheb »

Spawn 2 wants to learn to ride motorcycles. They already have a car licence so AFAICT they need to do the CBT course, and then can ride on the road with L plates.

They are currently living in Exeter but may be moving to Falmouth. It's all a bit theoretical currently because of lockdown.

Any recommendations?

Yes he needs a CBT that will cover him to ride up to any geared or auto 125cc for 2 years on L plates regardless of being a car driver or not. Being a car driver makes the CBT easier as he already knows highway code, junctions, basic roadcraft etc.

Most CBT providers are now up and running again as there is a demand from people looking to avoid using public transport and buying peds instead. As for recommendations, sorry cant help as its wrong part of the country for me

Thanks. I did suggest you but the trek to Norfolk is a bit far.

Ooh, Cambourne. It'll give me an excuse to worship at Trevithick's statue.

Thanks, I'll pass that one on.
