KKKTLA justs put up a lovely graphic that showed that 60% of LA County residents are vaccinated & 48% aren't...

And now "complications from Covid" include heart disease, obesity, GSW's, cancer & car wrecks

But that shows 1% vaccinated/hospitalized. That was last week, this week it's 0.001%

Do the sums for us, tell us how that makes any difference to your original " people in the UK who got the vaccine pretty much wasted their time." statement.

What I understand is that the media (who should be calling out "the authorities" for manipulating the numbers) are manipulating the numbers. I don't believe either of them as they both come out with contradictory crap EVERY fucking day. Today's discovery that the population of LA County is 108% of the population being the latest example... unless of course, 8% of us are both vaccinated AND unvaccinated.

And not just manipulating the numbers, the fuckers are flat out lying.

No, you really don't understand why there are vaccinated people in hospital with Covid.

Covids is a moving target with unsatisfactory stats and analysis every day, leading to 'medical reports' which are often anything but, based as they are upon insufficient and, importantly, unverified data. The media is lapping it up and governments arent able to keep up with what is verifiable and what is hokum.

Poking holes in it because media outlets can't add up isn't a euraka moment and proof of conspiracy, it's just a waste of your own energy. Unless you genuinely draw life from sticking it to the man on a daily basis.

In the uk the stats include self-reported lateral flow tests, 'proper' lab confirmed tests and the weekly random sample testing (reported weekly). Then there's hospitalisation, which lags a couple of weeks behind infection. Oh, and some hospital admissions will be non-covid emergencies only identified once admitted.

And not understanding that when a lot of people (however many '0's around the decimal point) then there will be more people in hospital who have been vaccinated.

The sky is not blue, it just appears blue.

When I was lying on the beach here last night, looking up at the enormity of space it, the sky that is, wasn't blue.
