It's not terrible.
I think I'd prefer it with the standard forks and swingarm, but then it wouldn't be a restomod!
Is that seat unit a Ducati 900SS one?

Black clock with white writing?
Burn the heretic
Oh jeez and its seat...
I knew Fabarge (with an accent) made eggs but didn't realise they hatched into turkeys.
Sorry but a Barry Sheene GSXR just does nothing for me, too much of an anachronism.

Far too much black, makes it look even fatter and heavier than it already is
Yuck.

You're a fucking weird bunch. I thought that KTM monstrosity the other day would be slated and this would be loved.... Somehow, many of you liked the KTM and hate this.

Re: Bandit Barry – Suzuki GSX-R 1100 Resto Mod
At a glance my guess is that it's been built by some young Shoreditch type who has looked at pictures of old bikes and has tried to recreate one but doesn't really get it, so he's created his interpretation, which has ended up being the bike that Bellwood would have built if he'd been modding bikes back then.
I liked it for about two seconds until my eyes adjusted.
It's trying too hard.

I don't know why people bother doing GSXRs as Sheene tributes, he was vocal about his dislike of 4 strokes and production based race bikes.

Well, I like it... but then I like the old GSX-Rs and I liked the race colour scheme.
And Barry Sheene was vocal about a lot of things... doesn't mean he was right

I have no context for what that bike is or what it's trying to emulate. I know in the literal sense, but in terms of reaction the best I can muster is "meh".

Re: Bandit Barry – Suzuki GSX-R 1100 Resto Mod
When I was a kid I was never fond of playing with Tonkas alongside Matchbox toys, the scales were too far different.
For me, old GSXRs look good anyway in a brutish sort of way but thats just not right.
Plus the seat has that diamond pattern stitching thing going on that seems popular with cafe racers looks gash.
Were it a proper XR69 looking like that or a GS Thou converted to that I'd be more or less ok with it, well apart from the seat and the white on black revcounter.

You know how some folk spray up a Busa in Lucky Strike colours,or a Blackbird in Motogp Repsol? It never looks right, they aren't that type of bike,so it looks gash.
This Blandit is one of those.

As I grew in up in the Sheene era (I was an impressionable 9 when he won his first world title AND my Dad rode a GT185 at the time) I so wanted to like that. But it's just not good.
