Quick trip to Dartmoor

Post by MingtheMerciless »

Left home at 0500 and was at my favourite Dartmoor pub for 1000 and a breakfast fry up. On the way encountered the dreaded M27 roadworks (thank you Kawasaki cruise control) and Mr Road Rage in a Punto who got really upset that I wouldn’t overtake the learner by crossing double solid white lines! Other than that it was a leisurely relatively traffic free journey.

Nice little ride across Dartmoor except for the 2 inch deep gravel/chipping broad repairs that went on for 5 miles, that was entertaining on the ZH2!

Now in Bude for a few days to see the Old Man.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
