Survival Skills ONLINE COACHING SESSIONS

Post by The Spin Doctor »

RIDER TRAINING - THE NEXT STEP! Remote learning via a ZOOM ONLINE COACHING session.

WHY OFFER ONLINE COACHING? Because I can! Times change, technology moves on, and we discover different ways of using it. Since March 2020, many of us have been forced to adapt in ways we would never have considered before the COVID epidemic forced us to change our way of thinking.

DOES IT WORK? Absolutely. Just because it's not yet the norm for rider training doesn't mean online coaching isn't effective. I hold an NVQ as an online tutor - a qualification which I gained whilst working entirely online myself!

1. FLEXIBLE & SELF-PACED - you can book each Survival Skills ONLINE COACHING session at a time to SUIT YOU, then you have complete flexibility in when you head out on the road you can work through the lesson plan. You can learn WHENEVER you want and you can move through the material at your OWN PACE to ensure you’re really mastering it before moving on to the next section.

2. REPEAT LEARNING - unlike a one-off on-road course, by learning online and RECORDING the session, you can REVISIT it to refresh your understanding, or PAUSE the playback to perform additional research.

3. SELF-MOTIVATION - by working partly independently and seeking out new ways of doing things, you're more likely to learn because you are SELF-MOTIVATED and better ENGAGED with the learning opportunity. The more you put your heart into it, the more you’ll succeed.

4. STAY FRESH - one of the biggest problems with on-road training is the time commitment. You have to ride to meet me, take the training, then get home again. Even a five-hour training course can easily end up lasting eight hours. And so you get tired. It's why I've always kept the practical training sessions shorter than many people expect. By training online, you can BREAK DOWN the exercises and try them out when you are fresher and in the best state to learn.

5. WEATHER INDEPENDENT - on-road training works best when the weather is dry and warm - but not too warm. Even in summer, I can't guarantee the perfect day. And from early November to mid-March, even half-decent weather for training is the exception rather than the rule. Learning online means a perfect learning environment, every time.

6. QUALIFIED ONLINE TUTOR - I have a unique set of skills. Not only am I an experienced and BTEC-certificated practical riding coach, I also hold an NVQ as an online tutor, a course I took online myself. I not only understand the challenges facing you as a rider, I understand the pros and cons of an online coaching environment.

7. LOWER COSTS - in short, you're paying for less of my time and I have fewer expenses running each session - I don't have travelling time to meet you, and I don't have to cover bike running costs either. So the fact is that my Survival Skills ONLINE COACHING sessions can be considerably cheaper compared with a similar on-road course.

TO SUM UP. The best thing about a Survival Skills ONLINE COACHING session is that you can learn in a relaxed manner in your own time. All you need is a passion for learning better biking skills. Once you've taken an online course, you will be the master of your own personal development.
