Worse than that, the insurance industry is talking about replacing written off normal vehicles with electric ones so they can signal their virtue.

Which enduro bikes are 100 kilos and ready to roll?
It's been a while since I looked and my KX 500 dry weight is 100 kilos but with fluids its a fair bit more.
Lights and ancillaries add maybe another five?
I've not noticed much weight savings on modern crossers compared to mine.

Impressive. My little 125 Honda Innova was 90kgs,from memory and it felt like a bicycle. A riotous 9bhp to exploit too,not for the timid that one.Yorick wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 3:59 pmMine's 105. I was just rounding numbers.demographic wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 2:34 pm

Is that 105 dry weight? I assume it is cos like I said, I've not noticed many areas on mine where I feel like I could reduce much weight without getting into exotic materials.
