But I am in no rush to return to the French bisous thingies!
I'm happy to wear a mask inside. It's a bit weird to wear a mask to walk to a cafe or resto table and then sit for an hour or so without, only to put it on to walk out. But if it's necessary, its necessary - as Jody said, it's no biggie to wear one and not having to outside in the heat is bloody lovely!!
From 19th August, all people working in bars/restos etc have to be double jabbed - so that will be interesting as I'm aware of (only very recently aware of) a handful of anti-vaxxers who also work in bars/restos here (And a handful that are apparently quite vocally anti-vax but don't work in that trade)
One wrote this on a group chat I'm on -
Half of me wants to talk to her about it, but the other half wants to run in the other direction. Shame she runs a place that does bacon sarnies, english breakfast and a Sunday RoastLike, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but doesn't anyone else think this is fucking insane?
There's such limited knowledge of the side effects, I don't want to risk my fertility etc.
Until there's more studies done. What happened to freedom of choice?
What if on religious grounds I didn't want to get vaccinated?
Do we then have to give up our careers?
Isn't this a huge human rights breach?
I want to boycott but am I being petty?
