Re: Turntable
Not the stand, the wheels. If it's in front of the wheel riding in, after turning it will in front before riding out.
You would have to get the wheels over it at some point in the process.
And re the T idea, it would probably bend under the weight.

Even bland can be a type of character

Re: Turntable
Hence the puzzlement over the suggestion about the longer board.
As-is, the wheels will be lower than the datum for the stand, meaning more effort to lift it. If the turntable is long enough for both wheels to rest on it, the effort will be no different from doing it on level ground.
Re: Turntable
Ah, now I get what you mean. It won't stay under the bike but will only be put in place for rotational purposes. It only weighs a couple of kg so easy enough to pop in and out. So once rotated I'll probably drop it off the stand.
If it was long enough for the wheels to sit on it, it would be much heavier and also pretty tippy.

Re: Turntable
Not only that, the plate would possible deflect and ground out which means you’d need to raise the lazy Susan, brace it from the top or have one hell of a thick plate.iansoady wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 9:43 am Ah, now I get what you mean.
