This country has done a great job in terms of getting the population vaccinated and, given that the aim was to protect the vulnerable groups in society, which has been achieved, the restrictions on our personal liberty should be removed at the earliest opportunity. If people want to stand in a sweaty dive bar and listen to shit bands, then they should be free to do so. I supported lockdown, but it's time to learn to live with this shit and get on with it. Can't believe there are people still dragging this out and saying we need to carry on wearing masks ad infinitum.

I am slightly biased as I have tickets for Easy Life which keeps getting postponed.

I have tickets for about 3 fezzies and 2 other indoor events which i bought back in late 2020!

I have now kind of lost the plot as to which ones i have managed to move the the 2021 event, which have been refunded and which have just not bothered putting on the event in 2021.

I need to email all the events (i know organisers of most of them on FB) and see if my tickets will actually be valid in 2021.

Bloody nightmare, but really can't wait to start getting out with people again and getting some of my aggression out on the dancefloor.

Two things I have learnt, the hard way, is:

Always buy gig tickets on a credit card

Via Go-Go are cunts.

Greeny, what do you make of this then: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-57722072

That's Richard Ashcroft* pulling out of a festival because of reasons.

*Used to be in The Verve, I had to look that up.

Ian Brown is even more of an anti-vax knob and has done the same thing recently. I loved the Stone Roses inspite of Ian Brown....

Is 'anti-tax' a typo, or true but off topic?

His choice, good on him, he has made a choice based on his own reasonings.

It's funny that people now seem to have to be told how to make their own decisions. Decisions are mostly based on your own personal reasoning, you can't please everyone!

Thanks for that ....
Odd how so many in the anti -vax / I want my freedom / don't let the Man tell me what to do are really happy to shove down as much MDMA, speed and ketamine into there body , from un tested, un regulated and dubious hygiene sources. Bit of a paradox in the personal reasons there ..

If I went to a festival, I'd want to be surrounded by intelligent folk who'd had the jab. Not thick selfish fuckers who don't care if they spread it.

Whoooosh, you just don't get it do you, any of you.

Did you speed at all to work today, did you make that decision?

We are now being asked to make our own judgement on what we think is best for ourselves, how can we all think what is best for everyone else, we can't, they have to make the same decisions based on their situation.

It's that simple, If you don't want to be around people stay the fuck in and never go out again, i couldn't give a fuck, but do not stop others from doing what they want just because you think it's not right for you!

and for those that are about to call me a selfish bastard, think about the others etc - have you had your vaccines? - good, then it doesn;t matter does it as youll all be fine.

You cannot vcome from a stand point of 'oh you antivaxxers are the worst*' etc then say that you still cannot go out after having the vaccine

Do you really expect people in bands to be anything other than egotistical bell ends, you can like the music without liking the people who made it.

I want to be around like-minded folk who have had the jab.
That's my choice.

I don't wish to mingle with folk who can give me Covid.

Imagine if a rock band had 2 concerts.
1 for jabbed folk.
Other for those who refused
to be jabbed.

Which would you rather go to?

If you caught Covid, would you refuse free treatment as it was your choice to go?
