That's going to take some getting used to, you should try a big slide carb, my Husky had a 40mm DellOrto, it could be bloody horrible, or absolutely superb, depending on how awake you were.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:43 pm Yeah I can imagine....the Bonnevile has slide carbs, slide carbs which are about as simple as they come. If you just crack the throttle you go nowhere, you have to feel your way up.
As someone who grew up with either EFI or "final generation" carb bikes it was a bit of an eye opener.
Who would ride it for you ?KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 10:42 am There's only 'Steady' spots left. It's the pinicle of 1992 Suzuki engineering, it belongs in fast!
Last year (or the year before) there was no difference between steady and inters, I started out in Inters and moved down to Steady, there was no difference in the pace.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 10:42 am There's only 'Steady' spots left. The colours and graphics are horrendously shell suit 90s. But it's a bike from 1992 so WTF else would you expect?! I don't really go in for the 'make it look moden' thing, why would buy a 90s bike and complain it's stupid 90s colours?KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 11:34 am I'm getting used to the paint, it's very 90's. Which I like.
I'd draw the line at that though!I'd quite like a proper carbon fibre yoke protector
