BTW, it's ace. I was stood at some lights and a woman in a car going the other way stopped, rolled down her windows and shouted how awesome my bike was!!!

At least that's my experience of owning old bikes, I must have met every former Z1100R owner in Suffolk, even though none were ever sold new here.
I was at Oulton Park BSB last weekend & took a photo of a early GSXR1100 that was parked there.I uploaded the photo to FB & got a surprise at how much interest there was in this photo of a GSXR1100,they seem to attract a lot of interest. :think:

Imho it's actually quite a good road bike. Yeah it's heavy, but that gives it that nice planted feel. It handles good too, you'd really need to be pushing on or on track to find any real fault.

Everyone who's seen it in the flesh can't believe it's 29 years old, my mum thinks I'm bullshitting and its got a private plate on it to make it look old!
