If they aren't telling porkies then they've certainly done a good and thorough job for you.

I'm half tempted to ask them to deliver it to work, I could ride it home then get the wife to drop me off for the car... They'll charge £60 for delivery tho'

lol it's not like the bike was £100.

If it's £5000 or £5060 does it matter ?

If they can deliver it to your work, they can deliver to your home, stop being a tight wadge.
Or take the afternoon off work, its not as though you actually do anything.

Ssssssh!

I work proper hard I do, don't spend any time on the tinternet at all.

They are sticklers here for giving adequate notice for holidays. I need to give a full week.

Rite Bike have just this second called... it's ready to go!

Also... I'd have to tax it three days before the end of the month, that would really upset my Yorkshire genes.

It's only two days to the end of the month, but if it was at yours you could sit on it and make brum brum noises.
Get it delivered, someone who works there might be able to do it on their way home.

Nope, I'm going to go pick it up at the weekend. Have a good look around it in my own time at their premises, make sure every thing is correct before doing the cash transfer and hitting the open road.

I'll get to race the wife home in her Aygo.

That's far too sensible, that's not how you buy a GSXR1100, buying a GSXR1100 is a bit like making love to a large women, you turn up full of hope, looking forward to caressing her ample curves......

After all this it better be good.
It reminds me of getting my ZXR750H1, the first couple of rides were epic because I'd wanted one so badly, then it suddenly just became an old bike that made a lovely noise but felt like riding the road going equivalent of a narrowboat.

Here's a reminder why it was worth the wait!

If I'm ever feeling flush and find some decent panels and a tank, I'll take all the original stuff off, put it in the loft and get the spare stuff painted up in the M model Blue and White.

But it'll probably never happen, the pink is growing on me :)

As much as the paint job on yours does traumtise me slightly, it's very appropriate for the actual bike...
