Speed of a WC Downhiller on the downs and a WC XC rider on the ups!!

I know a lot of people that wouldn't be able to ride some of those climbs as fast down as he was going up! Even though it was relatively short I don't think that most "leisure" cyclists understand exactly what that standard of downhilling takes out of you before you then have to go deep into the red on the climb and then hold it all together again for the next descent. Awesome athletes.

That was FAST and HARD work. That ability to smash the DH (which at that speed is energy sapping and concentration hogging) before a hard climb that itself sucks the life out of you before more mental warp speed DH stuff which requires severe concentration is amazing. I'd have smeared myself onto a tree stump on the second section (I usually do it at Cannock on the wiggly DH bit at the end of the Monkey when I'm pretending that I'm quick/fit).

"Especially the lies."

wow, that seemed to just go on and on and the track looked absolutely amazing.

I recon I could do that in about 20, maybe 25 mins, obviously using turbo to get up the hills :D
