Post by Saga Lout »

Five years ago today the British people decided to leave the European Union. :bblonde:

It should be a national holiday.

That extra £350 million a week has really come in useful :)

NHS spending the past year has been a lot more than £350m a week over what we were spending in 2016 ;)

As our government has demonstrated over the last 15 months or so, £350 million is chicken feed. If they want to spend more all they have to do is print more. Easy peasy.

Far too early to tell.

Brexit was always going to create short term problems, it has.
Brexit promises long term gains. They are still just promises

Not guilty, I don't start them, I do occasionally point out obvious truths.

I shall try to avoid 'politics' but they do impact on life a bit.

Indeed, and that's why they're allowed, but I am finding them tedious.

This wasn't an observation to you, crack on and post what you like. Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean they shouldn't exist

Can 10 years be described as ‘short term’ when it comes to politics?

Plus, I don’t remember the 10 years of problems being mentioned on the side of the bus?

The bus was just a summary. And it was a short bus.

I think the windows that they had covered over were the ones at the front - so they couldn't see where it was taking them!

Let's agree to disagree on that. I think your grandkids will thank me/Boris/the bus.
